Being a USN Qurarermaster from 1967 to 1971 I was much more fortunate than so many. We had hot showers and a 24hour mess. 7 of my classmates friends and 4 department shipmates died during that same time. I salute all those who have and are serving. I will never forget my friends who gave their all for a country that at the time hated servicemen. It is great to see the change in attitude.
