Can't reload!

Post by GRV01 »

So were transitioning now as I'm waiting for a new job to take off and we've just moved out of an apartment into a couple rooms in wifeys grandparents house. Unfortunately grandma is resolutely against firearms which means I havent been able to do any step of reloading for weeks now. No depriming, no sizing, nothing since I haven't had the privacy. A notorious busy-body, of hate to have her asking what's that noise as I'm seating bullets or walk in while charging, hah

Just complaining is all, hoping yo be in our own place this time next year (which also means I'm upgrading from hand press to turret!) Cant wait

Doesn't Grandma go to her senior club meetings? If not, maybe you should tell her to join one, that it will be good for her to meet new people. Then you can sneak in some reloading before you forget how to do it.
If all else fails--look for the obvious

Thats our problem, Wifey and I have been on our own since 18-19 when i enlisted and havent lived with relatives since (outside of visiting for a few days ofcourse) so now that were 31, two kids and both working its a huge change.

I dunno how kids these days do it, living with mom and dad til theyre 30

I just hope i get the call soon, but that just means i get to escape for the schooling for 8months while wife and kiddies stay behind

Slip a shot of Back Jack or Turkey into her tea and reload while she's napping...

Things will work out for you. Just keep working towards your goal. My guns hung on the wall for the better part of 35 years. Now my problem is I can't reload and cast enough to keep em all fed.
Good luck with yer new job.

Well we're on our way. Stopped for the night in Ft Stockton TX after leaving this morning from Baton Rouge. These tall things sticking out of the ground (my wife tells me theyre 'moontans') are unnerving at rhe highest posted speed limit ive ever seen -- 80mph, and easnt excited about zooming through there at night

Should be in AZ tomorrow afternoon, start work next week. Ill be there for 6 weeks before they send me to the academy and ive brought all my reloading gear. Cant wait.
