LarryW and the Annealeez

Post by daboone »

Well this damn eye ball problem has got the best of me. I had to give up trying to get the case and flame alignment due to lack of depth perception.

Then to the rescue LarryW walks in my door. I was ready to throw the Annealeez out that same door so I gave it to him :D :D :D . He took it home and been tinkering with it with success. He tells me he has done all the M1 Carbine brass he took with it and want to do more. In fact he says he'll do all my brass when needed. :D

Not only that but he keeps offering to take me out to shop, doctor appointments and go shooting. He was doing that before I gave him the annealer. He also is going to help me and monitor me to do some bullet casting as soon as it cools off enough here in Phoenix.

Thank YOU Larry! Reloaders are the BEST kind of FRIENDS!

Late to the party, for some reason couldn't post ???
Anyway, thanks RD but really, no thanks needed, the old goat is family to us.
( If I could only find a way to cure " Old Goatness now ?? )
He doesn't know it yet but just as soon as he's ready, ( & he will be ready soon )
he'll be getting this machine back on his bench, but until then I got his back.
Besides, trying to anneal those pesky little 30 carbine without completely frying
them is a fun but aggravating challenge...

Thanks for the kind responses. I'm in Houston headed for a visit up to see some other grandkid in Concord CA this weekend. After that visit I'll be headed back to TX for Halloween because my daughter need some more help with a bunch of minor recovery projects and the kids. (I like doing the kids stuff better. ;-))
In the mean time my eye is self correcting (healing) but it's still ain't right. I guess I'm inpatient.

Larry thanks again for all your efforts but a deal is a deal.

Gus how are you? You've been missed. So don't keep hiding and please start posting again.

Thanks for the report! Glad to see something simple like an eyeball isn't stopping you. I would wear the pirate patch on the airliner. The ladies like it and the kids don't so you get to sit with the good looking, kidless ladies!
