Sickening! I liked So. CA for the ocean/beaches, weather, services (every store and every product available) but it has gone completely crazy in the last 10-15 years. I retired early so I could escape CA and it's the best move I've made. I now live in a small town where I cannot buy everything I need/want, but it's clean here and the folks are actually friendly!

Sorry to say, but it is believable. The situation in the Golden State gets worse every time a left winger opens his mouth.
Not only 2nd Ammendment issues but taxes, and regulations on every issue of our lives. There is no just and equal representation for the rural areas of the state. This and other reasons are why the State of Jefferson movement is gaining popularity. Southern Oregon counties face the same issues and are also moving to rid themselves of the unfair state politics.
Some people say that it cannot be done. The tories said the same thing about breaking ties with England!

I won't rant any more. .....

I still have friends and family in So. CA and a friend told me the gas tax is going up $1.00 too. Having lived in CA for over 65 years I realized the state is controlled by the big urban centers; L.A., S.F. Bay area, and Sacramento. These ultra liberal areas elect the ultra liberal politicians that have gone crazy with the laws they enact (I don't remember voting about the buzzard/lead laws). The "normal" folks are outnumbered by the urban anti-hunting, anti-shooting (and everything related) snowflake hollywood type liberals...

Thank God I was able to escape 8 years ago...

This is why we all need to do what we can to KEEP our freedoms. I live in a very LIBERAL area and I am glad I can have what I need to handload but I can see them trying this type of nonsense in the future. Really a sad commentary that anywhere, even California would have such erroneous, unconstitutional laws.
