Well, our buddy Daboone is a hot mess,
He just gets his sight back to near normal & then
the guy falls over with a heart attach, says he is doing good
& he sounds good.
So, Good thoughts & prayers for Dan please.

Gosh, I'm really sorry to hear that about da. On the up side, medical science can do some pretty fantastic stuff now, and the heart issues seem to be mostly totally manageable.

It really seems odd to me that you can go full bore active for 50-60 years, then suddenly start getting whacked by some totally unexpected maladies.

Thank You for your concerns, prayers and comments.

First and foremost the dog along with my daughter's family in Sugar Land TX are treating me with an over abundance of attention. Once again I'm overwhelmed by the love of family. I'm blessed well beyond my deserved quota.

The dog is almost smothering me with "request" via nose nuzzles and paws for scratches. He is just a spoiled rotten mutt that has asserted his rights as man's best friend. Paddles is even a little protective when any one of the grandkids hops into bed with us with a low pitched growl; He settles right down when he realizes he isn't getting replaced and is also getting scratches from them as well.

I actually feel as good as I did before this event occurred. I am back to morning and evening walks or as the dog demands.

The downside to this is a new regimen of meds are now twice a day and weight limit lifting reduction and playing with man toy stuff till they figure out how to regulate the dosages of those meds. So that's not much of a downside.

I certainly don't feel as though "Life is coming at me with it's pants down" That's a paraphrased quote from the movie Krampus. All in all my Christmas is turning out to be exceptional, filled with the LOVE and Generosity that makes this Season so special to kids and grampys alike.

That globe trotter babysitting me ???? Na.. But, if it would help him get better & stay better, it's Ok with me.
