Very busy while on vacation

Post by Steelbanger »

Happy Easter fellows.

I've been away but it was more like a health vacation as I spent a week in a hospital trying to straighten out some drug issues, and I am not talking about these that make us dependant. Anyway, it at least gave my family the opportunity to see everyone else and I had a nice time getting straightened out. Someone spends the nights with me at home but that is the only restriction. I am using a new batch of drugs now so we should soon see if there is any difference between old & new prescriptions. Like most members I would appreciate a prayer and as always I pray for you too.

It's a done deal from us also. Hoping the "new" med's work even better for you. A warrior creed: We never quit, we never surrender, we fight to the death.....blessings be upon you.

Prayers said in So. Oregon for you steelbanger. Yep Rx meds can drive you crazy (literally! ). In my recent experience, a hospital stay can be OK or a total PIA (one time I had good results, no trauma and fun nurses. Another time I woke with a fire hose down my throat, tied to the bed and hooked up to a machine with alarms, screens and gauges). But all in all God has been very good to me making my hospital stays as short as possible (to say the least ). Keep us informed...

My wife's aunt & uncle moved into assisted living a month ago. One member of the staff almost killed her uncle over the weekend. Gave him a pill that should have gone to her aunt. It was bad.

Whats been happening. After being discharged from the hospital we arrived home with some new regulations. Ranging from someone must be in the house with me to no more glass of wine before bedtime. The wine restriction was put there because of some of my meds, Thanks to all of you for helping me on the path of recovery. The only way I know to repay you is to offer my prayers for each of you.

A recovery gift was a dog. I really miss Smoke but life goes on and the replacement for Smoke is a tiny mix breed, half Jack Russell and the other half some type of oriental lap dog. Her name Daisy. She is near 9 weeks old but we didn't receive that information yet.

One of these days I want to give my newly installed lenses a test and sight in the PC Leverguns. I hope they work as well as the hearing aids.

Again, Thank You for all your prayers and thoughts too.

Thank you for the report and good to hear that you're recovering!

Also, glad to hear that you have a K9 to share your life with. I know the frustration a dog can bring, wanted to shoot my two knuckleheads about an hour ago and came very close to it. I didn't know whether the shooting would be for chasing deer or being so bad at it and being so far behind! It is really on me; they got bored with watching me do nothing. The good thing about them is that they are a great company. Mine are a laugh a minute, and I'm sure Daisy is too!
