Number6's Gear

I was labeled as a lee hater by someone on this forum. I don't think so.

I couldn't find a primer pocket swager from LEE, so I bought the green one, too. :D

The setup looks like it'll work! I also like the classic turret press.

I do not like the bench prime. I is not ready for prime time. I believe a redesign will be in order. Lee suggests removing the oring but that leaves the shell holder loose. The primer tray does not work well either. Good idea just not tested enough. The part that is likely to break is not listed in the spare parts.

I have the exact scale only no name.

Makes me wonder where Frankford gets them. Mine was less than $10 shipped. I have a master chart comparing both digital (cheap) and both beam scales all within .3gr in a 158gr cast bullet.

I am 67 years old and just started this journey in January. I was not sure I would enjoy it and Lee let me get setup and running with the least expense. I am slowly deciding what works for me and what does not. Most of the Lee tools work great some do not. As most here will agree getting new equipment is fun, but sometimes is frustrating. I have learned that the classic turret gives me all the speed I need or I can slow down and use it as a single stage.
