Make smoke,
This one is an old Goldwing with a California Friendship 3. Here are some of our other ones. http://webpages.charter.net/thelake/Motorcycles.htm

Great photo's and some very interesting sidecars. Thanks for sharing them along with the story's. I've had a few myself starting in 1967 with a "hopped up" 66 BSA lightning. Froze her up one day headin' back to Corpus Christi from Laredo, Texas. Was in a bit of a hurry, runnin' late, made it to the "outskirts" of Flour Bluff but that was it, she couldn't take the heat...Texas is hot. Like you I've had many different makes, models, types. One of my favorites (actually had two at different times) were the first Honda 1100 Shadows in 1985 & 1986. Those were my first Jap machines and they made my early HD's seem pretty archaic.. :D My last bike purchase was 1999, a HD FXR2. Fun little machine, great looking also but sold it in 2000 to a guy in Bakersfield, Calif. Got married that year....end of story.

We've been together 41 years. She likes motorcycles as much as I do, but not crazy about the sidecar. She's trying to talk me into selling both bikes and buying a new one. Right now, it's a toss up between an Indian Roadmaster or another Goldwing. Of course, my dog would disown me.
