minimalized loading "bench"

Post by Fyodor »

Hey, guys,

this is my current reloading setup. It will improve within a short time to a pro1000 and a small reloader press.

But you won't be able to improve on the fun you're having learning to "roll your own". +guns

That hand press will always be a useful tool for several chores about your bench and at the range. I hope you realize your making a pack with the addiction devil as you will quickly out grow the bench pictured and, well suffer our fate as another lost soul to the handloading addiction.

This little press is unexpectedly easy to use and comfortable. I won't give it away, even if it is the old version without the breech lock feature. On the range there's nothing comparable.

Looks like a fine setup to me. Reloading is as reloading does!

Well put RD as long as you can feed the habit you are in the fold. nothing wrong their. I want to someday get a 4hole turret lee. I am still holding back as I enjoy the accuracy I get on my single stage. I only need to speed up my powder measureing and still be dead on accurate.

When I started reloading in the mid 80's my entire kit fit in a shoe box in my footlocker at college! I still reloaded all the time and shot almost every weekend! I did not have a dedicated reloading space until 1990!

Well, with this little fella and only one set of dies, there would be plenty of room in a fully grown shoebox at the moment  . But if I count in all the ammo boxes, primers, powder (TrailBoss is BULKY) and stuff, I use a little bigger box.

Day before yesterday I did 500 rounds of pre sized and primed cases. Still, it was a 6 hours marathon of watching Deadwood DVDs.

Was a really nice and relaxing night, but you really don't win any prices when it comes to speed.
