I tried to reply here on my phone using the mobile app and it booted me because of the topic age. Lost my post. Not typing it all back in.

I finally bought the three jaw chuck but it won't work without the other piece I forget to get.

$6.49 and 90607 on the way.

Got to watch for the "Locked" icon.

I wish you would have known about the parts. Have both with little use that I will eventually get rid of. I have a large bin full of Lee stuff that I will be listing this summer. Things that I no longer use. I need to make room in my room. I have way too much stuff.

Does the locked icon show up readily on the mobile app? I see it on the desktop version easily. Seems like the warning should be when you start typing a reply not after it erases what you wrote upon attempt to submit.

Right next to the reply button. I don't write the software and something, as you mention, would be impossible to recode.

I'm not griping just making fun of myself for the rookie mistake.
Should have everything soon. Still debating the primer pocket uniformer.

The three jaw chuck and spinner stud are useless to me. They do not do what I want. Guess I was incorrect in ordering. I cannot use the drill to let the three jaw chuck make operation quicker than the shell holder that comes with the cutter and length stud. To me it should work the same only quicker and with more leverage since the diameter is larger on the three jaw. Instead, the spinner stud just loosens and tightens inside the three jaw instead of releasing and tightening on the case. It spits cases out and the three jaw never gets a hold of the case. The drill simply loosens and tightens the spinner stud within the three jaw. The two parts never work together, just against each other. Does Lee really think the o-ring on the spinner will keep it at the same depth within the the three jaw chuck that has no stop threads when the spinner is operating against drill motor torque?

So frustrated.

Yep, my same experience. Thought it was something I was doing wrong. All this caused me to just mount the case length trimmer on the Lyman Press Center. Super move.

Well the 3 jawed chuck has always worked very VERY well for me. But them I'm a genius craftsman or just very lucky.

It hold cases tight with just a simple 1/4 turn twist for me.
