What's up with sending a PM?

Post by BC17A »

So why do the PM's I reply to, or send, end up in my outbox and not in the sent folder? After clicking on submit, I see "your message was sent", or something to that effect, but it still ends up in my outbox.

Up to this post, your permissions were that of a "New User". New users have less than five posts, and there are a few limits as to what they can do; sending private messages and participating in the BST forums.

I suspect that new user messages are returned to their outbox within the coding of the forum, so once they have the required posts, they can be forwarded to those that were the intended recipient.

Try it now and see if you can send one.

If you still are having problems, see this topic to make sure you are "Adding" the user to the message.
