New from south of the border

Post by stanley2 »

Hello all, new here, thanks for accepting me.

Been reloading since 1993, started with a Lee "C" press small cast iron pot a ladle and double cavity mold.

Then in 2000 got me a clasic cast turret press 4 stations, what a big improvement.

A couple of years ago got the Case ejector system for the LEE Classic turret. (Reverse rotation) o my, it only got better.

And today I got from titan my new Lee Pro1000 in 380 this is going to get so much better.

¡Bienvenido!

That setup sound very familiar to me, I use nearly exactly the same presses! Just different calibers. Especially the reverse rotation case kicker makes the turret press a very convenient piece of equipment. I don't want to run mine without!

Thanks for the welcoming,

At this moment it is a pain to reload, components are scarce, you want bullets you have to cast them.

In the 90s and 2000s you could find any components in specialized sporting stores, most of them have closed.

I had a green press that was used for rifle 30-06 and 308 sold all when couldn't find components.

Welcome aboard from the State of Jefferson (just north of you a bit). Good looking setup you have.

That's too bad. So what do you do when you need powder or primers? Do you need any licenses or permits to reload? Even Though I live fairly close, I know nothing about gun ownership in Mexico other than I don't want to get caught with one.

The bench, if sturdy, looks like it will work.
