I used the same procedure as for the bullets pic.
So here is the link:
Yeah, it is not an image in that it doesn't end with .jpg, jpeg, .png, .gif, and so on. Phototbucket links are weird as they want all the traffic back to the site.

Well if they're not, you're not crazy!!!

As a community, we're keepin the Skywheel company in business....

I bought a pair on EelBay then a second pair, for a backup. (just in case) As I needed to alter
for my use. The wheel hub needs to be re-drilled to accept an aluminum hub, and bushing carrier

Next time I looked at them, the price increased 400%.....Luckily I got mine when they were
still under $30.00 pair... now they're asking for as much as $149.00

https://tinyurl.com/yb5hd55r

Now that's insane!! ....The original bike was sold for less than that I think....

Holy cow! I just looked again, and the entire bike, (original, vintage,) is now going as hi as $2,900. :o

Who'd-uh-thunk?? :?

Since I named the plane "Mongoose: the Cobra Killer"...( Its satiric opposite)
I also bought the tires with the raised "Mongoose" sidewall lettering.

To stay on topic;

I loaded another 50 rounds... ACP 45..

You have my attention. This post is off topic but follows the thread

I have an '87 Diamond Back Viper with pink Skyway II's (new reproduction) and an '86 Mongoose FS-1 with Skyway OE's (original old school in very rare black as most OE's were white).

The very first Tuff II's had metal hubs and bring big money. Metal hubs are now reproduced. My Tuffs have sealed bearings. The original metal hub Tuffs have loose ball bearings. The crazy prices are on the VERY limited production old school graphite Tuffs at $5K per pair.

The original mags are magnesium hence the name. Mongoose used them (called Motomags like the bikes). They look like this.

The Cool Streak (foreground) is gone. I sold it on eBay for $570 a couple years ago. I built it from a frame and fork with original paint.

I replaced the Cool Streak with an original survivor '88 Mongoose Decade.....but it has spokes like it should.

Very nice...
but mine are nothing special, just some spun nylon it looks like..
Also the ones I have are smaller than the ones in the photo, mine are 16".
But they'll only be on the ground when parked, landing, or taking off.

I just completed my first wing rib for this aircraft... a milestone, having welded
since February this year. Had to teach myself the art of gas welding....thin wall, steel tubing that's about as thick as the spark plug gap in your engine.... .035", (approx 3/32") before I tackled this project.
During practicing, I burned thru so many times. Yep, it's thin...

Lots of other fun stuff too ... I'm making all of the electronics from scratch.. learning to use Arduino's to do it.
also devising a trailing smoke system controlled from the cockpit, that will work with the snowmobile engine...
So I can emulate "The Blue Angels! haha! Smoke on! ( fly around some) ... Smoke off...

Reminds me of that 80's movie "The Karate Kid" with Mister Miagi's "Daniel, Wax on,.... wax off"

Also looking to build a device that I can tow behind me which will carry a Go Pro camera...
and reel in before landing. So I can later, see myself flying...

But when finished, sometime in the next few months, (Hey There's no fingers crossed smiley! )
depending if the weather cooperates and allows me to tinker with it for more than a few hours/day, I'll be "Groovin on a Sunday afternoon!"

Oh... I'm also a Rock musician (Hammond Organ) hence the musical references..
Don't any one call ME, an OLD man!!! Grrrrr! :x

Loaded another 25 rounds today, in my spare time....

Interesting stuff! Welcome aboard from the State of Jefferson. I'm also a turret fan, plus a couple of single stage presses, retired from gainful employment 6 1/2 years, and avid gardener at present.

Well Old paint, Er I mean Scribe , Thank You very much.

I'm trying for the first time... to start a Vegetable garden of sorts.... I planted carrots, yellow Squash, and string beans on the north side of the house, and Green squash on the south side.. Nothing grand, just a small 10 x 20 foot total area. Well Here in Texas, we've got critters... Big critters ( Well big to a city boy any how...)
there are two nine banded Armadillo's running amuck in my yard, tearing up my veggies!
(the reason I decided to get back to reloading...)

I've seen wild boar coyotes, and deer walking across my "back 40" and even thought about trying my hand at hunting.. Starting with the Armadillo, and working my way up... +guns
But there doesn't seem to be, enough time in a day to do all the things I want to do.
