No, single shot. He was bowhunting on the edge of the Edwards Plateau, got of a tripod stand to take a leak. Standing on the edge of a wash and here comes the buck up the wash. Got a rock ready and split his head but good. Not a legal "means" of taking game in Texas though, but his recurve was up in on tripod. RIP Jimmy Hinton, you were a character!

Loaded some Lee 312-155 over some AA#9,
For My Ruger American 300 BO. Not too bad at 50yds

Went out this morning and "loaded" up a bunch of No. 6 rocks.............I went with a #6 size cause' our deer are bigger than them Texas ones. :lol:

It helps if you just throw downhill also....better velocity, but you have to aim a bit low... :mrgreen:
