I find it incredible how tough a grain of powder is. I had one land in the toothed track of a caliper and the dial jammed as it ran over the BL-C(2). I forced the movement and stripped the dial's gear. Ruined the caliper and had to replace it.

I loaded a test batch of 30-30 heavy casts this morning, but the nasty storms are going to put off shooting until next week. The last week has been "re-size and trim 30-30 brass week". After 150-180 (lost count) I thought I was finished a couple of days ago, then found another stash of another 60-80. My fingers are getting tired using the LEE hand trimmer .... but it works.

Got my next round of ammo for the 30-30AI ready this morning. High winds all days with heavy thunderstorms expected tonight. Switched powders, going to try H322 now.

Parts are in for my LCT so I'll take a shot at about 350 rounds of 5.56X45.

Looking forward to hearing how 7.5x55 works with the 150's. I have stayed with 168 to 180's.

Yikes, you didn't try them before you made your inventory run of ammo?

Not for me, for a friend.

"Trying them" is very difficult. I don't remember the last time I shot a gun but I bet it was last summer.
