Savage Axis.223 with a Simmons 22 Mag scope surprisingly accurate at 150 yards. I put this together for a small framed young lady who is less than 100 lbs. Rifle weight with scope is at 6.5 lbs. She was busting clays on the bank with every shot. Put a smile on smile on her face.
Lee 225-55 powder coated, no gas check. 7 grns. Unique 2.14 OAL.

I prepped 47 45-70s , decap ,neck size and, flair ,for the next work up .
I ran off 20 of the last set with the 458193 to confirm its drivability in the 1895G .
I used Strelok to run some energy and holdover charts .....Wow no wonder buffalo just fell in a heap . In reality the hold over isn't as bad as most would think only about 4 ft at 500 yds and with actual Chrony numbers pending it will change I'm sure but still right at 1000 ftlbs .

went to the range to day to test my cat sneeze loads. the 3.5 grains of TiteGroup shot great, 3 shots one hole at 50 foot the next two I changed my point of aim and hit that spot. Didn't finish the ladder but 3.5 grains are looking real good as a go to load.

I loaded a few 240 gr Bayou Bullet SWC's over 7.0 gr TrailBoss for general "range fodder". Pleasant shooters.
