Can't hit shinola

Post by Steve »

I went to the range to shoot the Henry 45 today. Glad nobody was there to see how bad I was shooting. Just a lazy day for me I guess. After about 50 rounds I moved to some steel plates at 12 yards for a little fast shooting, did ok then settled down and did petty good on the 80 yard steel plate. If I drank I would claim a hangover.

Sounds like me getting ready for my hunt. Hopefully with the deer down I am redeemed!

Just check your notes and recertify with fresh loads in same formula to see if rifle crown may have damage or if it is the decay of time which we all suffer that may be the cause of your rifle accuracy degradation. Keep us posted +corn

It's just me having a bad day shooting off hand. Probably won't be my last bad day of shooting. But it does make me appreciate the good days.

The main problem is learning a good stance with the prosthetic leg. I am starting to see improvement with that problem.

That's good though if you know the issue it can always be improved. I know since my knee was replaced it has been a major obstacle for me in my stance offhand. I still have old habits and my knee has been done for 14 years.
