Spotting Scope

I'm looking for a spotting scope for 50-100 yds targets.
Do you guys have any suggestions for a good model under $100? Or am I out of my mind in that budget?
I've already wasted some money on purchase on A-zon based on their reviews.
Thanks.

At that range try binoculars. You can use them for other things too.

I agree about the binocs.
If you must have a spotting scope because it looks cool on the bench, the look at Barska. I got one for $0
thru credit card rewards. It's OK for up to 100 yds. Check Dicks and other retailers where you can play with either instead of going blindly at A-zon

I have.......had a Tasco because I'm not sure where it is at the moment..... It was very good and I think that model is still right at $100 . It was clear and bright 45x but I can't remember now if that was the top or the start. I can tell you it wasn't Leopold but it was good .

I have one but it wasn't worth the $120 I paid for it. So I'll be interested in following this thread so see if there is one out there that doesn't cost fortune.

I use a scope that I acquired in a trade. I think it zooms to 24X. I like it better than a spotting scope because of the eye relief with my glasses. I mounted it on my cheapy spotting scope mount.
