Ouch.

Post by RBHarter »

I hope the pic attached. My phone doesn't play nice w pics here.

Long story short.
I had my 1st reminder that I'm not immune to things that go wrong in BP shooting. Now it was just a Cap that fragmented a little bit. That loose piece took the liberty of cutting my thumb to the ligaments cauterizing and tattooing me. I wear glasses anyway but if the cap had come back it would have no doubt been stuck in my face . Being cross dominant makes this a higher risk .

Be careful out there.

I figured it was timely since everyone is getting ready for deer seasons .
For what it is worth the home screened powder takes considerably more than FFg Pyro but it seems to shoot better than the Pyro or T7. There's some psychology involved with pouring 130 measured gr down the bbl when 80 gr causes hammer lift with the Maxi and Pyro.

I'm shooting my 4th batch . There is an instructional post here that I posted.
It is satisfying to shoot loads that are scratch by your own hand.

Does it heal well?

Doesn't look very pleasant...
