I'm saying I've always charged with powder off press. I do use a funnel.
I use mtm case holders they allow me to use the rcbs funnel set no problem I weigh every charge then dump into each case.

I have the RCBS and Lee funnels. I use the Lee mostly because it fits the powder through die and the green one doesn't.

I have the Lee funnel and vastly prefer it to the RCBS funnel that I also have. The RCBS has steps inside the funnel mouth that I guess are supposed to help fit different case mouth sizes. Instead of helping though it feels like I'm always dribbling a tiny bit of powder. The Lee has sort of a reverse funnel inside the mouth so it just rests on the case mouth to seal it up. VASTLY prefer the Lee design.

Have/used the RCBS funnel for EVERYTHING I have over the last nearly 30 years, from 6.5 to 45-70. But had to get a new/small funnel for 5.56

I use the Lee and Lyman (smoke grey color) funnels. They fit multiple calibers and work very well....no spills and the charge passes completely through the funnel and into the case.

I have a Lee funnel that came with one of my sets and it works just fine. I bought a 8mm metal (aluminum?) funnel for specific loads and it's great, but not good enough to buy specific funnels for each caliber. Unless I were shooting bench rest, then I'd likely invest in them. I think it was about $20 a few years ago.

I have a RCBS funnel set with the tube and adapters but I can't keep them straight and just got fed up with it. I was given a funnel from a Redding set with some powder and bullets I bought off a guy and I think it's almost identical to the Lee one.

The bottom line though is that 95% or more of my loading is on progressive presses with powder charged on the press. I do 30/06 on a single stage for hunting, maybe 20 rounds a year at most. I do 8mm Mauser on a single stage just because I rarely load any.

By the way, the 8mm metal funnel is actually a joy. I have never had a case tip over or spilled powder from it and it always works exactly as designed.
