Reduction of Available Parts

Post by cj8281 »

I went onto Lee's site today to check and see what the modern scoop would be for a 270 Lee Loader and they no longer have them listed as available parts. Other things that I noticed missing are the priming chambers, decapping bases and in most cases, bullet seating stems. They still have the o-rings and adjustment rings available.

Just thought you should know.

This is true for everything, fewer small parts listed on their website. I've called them to find what I'm looking for and I'm sure they can answer that question.

LEE pulled all (or most) the individual spare parts from their website. You can still order them, but you need to give them a call or send an email, they will send you a link to the components you're looking for.

I found the old system more customer friendly and straight forward.

This reduction of parts listed on a web site has happened to RCBS as well. It has become necessary to pull out the product's instructions, find the part number and then call them. The good news for both Lee and RCBS is they will send you the part(s) free of charge. :D
