School me on Sav 99s

Back in November, I was pondering on a Henry Long Ranger in 308 Win as I wont to move some of my bolt rifles for leverguns. The Henry's are available locally but a bit pricey. I was thinking about it and figured I could get a 99 for half of what the Henry would cost. So, I'm going to be into the 99s for the cost of a Long Ranger. To me, that is a win because as you noted, it is hard to beat the classic look of these rifles.
