MO's "Little Piece of Heaven"
Hi Folks:
Here are a couple of pictures of my home made reloading bench.
I originally made it in NY but when we moved, I just couldn't leave it behind.
The top is solid hardwood that has been glued and daddoed together. I also ran a 2nd piece of hardwood in the opposite direction under my reloader to add more rigidity. There is absolutely no flex in my reloading process. My Son made the die and shell holder. This set-up has served me well, and should last a lifetime or two.

Nice bench and rifles. What brand of cigar is that?

Re: MO's "Little Piece of Heaven"
Thanks folks!
O.K, here are the super secret answers:
Michael: My bench usually has "MO" clutter than what was up there on those particular days.
The guns are:
(1st picture) JRC Take Down Carbine, 9mm. Takes Glock magazines. The trigger group is a standard AR-15 trigger group. That rifle is more fun than any guy should be able to have with his clothes on. It is just a hoot to shoot. It's a good thing I reload I can tell ya'!
(2nd picture) Ruger SR10/22. It is pretty much a basic 22, just looks slightly different.
The cigar is a "Carnage", which is a Famous Smoke "house blend", by Nestor Plasencia. It is a full bodied cigar, and quite the bargain when you can catch them on sale. I think I paid right around $55/box. It was WAAAY better than I expected for that price point.
Back to my bench:
I love reloading, it gives me some "alone" time in the garage. I load "everything" when it comes to handgun calibers. I love the fact that both the JRC, and Rossi 92 shoot handgun calibers. It certainly makes for some fun and "reasonably" priced shooting. I'm loading 45lc for about .14/round, and 9mm at about .12/round. That's without brass. I was lucky because my Son who retired from the Army a couple of years ago brought me a couple of 50 caliber ammo cans each of 9/40/45 brass that the rangemaster gave him. I had to run it through my swager, but it was worth it. I have brass for a long time. The 45lc brass is from rounds that I originally bought. I'm going to have to buy some more of the eventually.
That's it... I'm done ramblin'!!
