Hello from Virginia
Hello all,
Just registered and I figured I introduce myself. I started reloading back in the eighties but due to some injuries followed by some financial hardships I pretty much got out of reloading ( and shooting for that matter) until a couple years ago. When I started back up it was with a second hand Lee single stage press. I recently upgraded to a Lee classic turret press. Kinda like driving a pinto then upgrading to a Lincoln Continental! They both gotcha were you want to go but one is a heck of lot nicer to drive! I wouldn't give up my turret press for all the tea in China now! Besides reloading I also cast my own bullets. I pretty much use Lee products exclusively. Currently I only reload for pistol. 9x19 (9mm Luger) and 9x18 ( Makarov) and I cast for both. For the Luger I cast 124 grn RN and 124 grn tc. Lee only makes one mold for the Mak and that's a 95grn RN and I have 2 of the same molds (I wish there were more options for the Mak because I truly love the caliber). I hope to add 30.06 to my dies in the near future but it hasn't been a high priority as the only rifle range is about 45 minutes away fro me and it ain't cheap to shoot their. I will say this an awful lot has changed in the way of reloading and ammunition and firearms in general while I was away! Anyway enough from me for now. I look forward to interacting wit y'all in the future,

Re: Hello from Virginia
You're not alone being a Mak 9x18 fancier. I got the lee mold and our own Ranch Dog's Mak mold. I wish I had it in a 6 cavity. For me the Lee mold needs to be powder coated to prevent leading. I shoot these cast in a Bulgarian Mak. Something about that pistol is just perfect for shooting abilities. A lot of beer cans, apples and oranges and one ugly rat have been stopped before they could harm me.

When I've checked I never see it listed. I'd sure like to get in on the next run,RBHarter wrote:Welcome .
