Hello from central South Texas
Spent my entire adult life in law enforcement---retired as sheriff of county. Am 82 plus years old, but still
enjoy deer hunting with my 06 with cast bullets, Lee's 170 gr FN. Belong to several shooting forums, mostly
cast bullet forums, and learn something new quite often. Don't post much, but will when a question arises
from my lurking. Hope to continure to learn, and maybe contribute some useful info. Live in central
South Texas, about 60 miles SE of San Antonio. Thank you for accepting me as a member of Lee Loader.

Re: Hello from central South Texas
Want to thank Old Scribe for the welcome to lee loader forum. Not too familiar with computers, and this
new forum, to me, so don't know if this will wind up in the right place, but here goes. My introduction to
reloading and casting was one of necessity as I was married, four small children, was working as a San
Antonio Police officer, and I had taught my children to shoot clay birds from a hand thrower---all of which
cost money. Now being a peace officer is an interesting and honorable profession, it is not one of the better
paid ones. I was able to solve this problem by going to the local Western Auto store where I was able to
buy two Revelation single barrel 20 gauge shotguns, on credit of course, and from a fellow reloader on the
department, a used single stage Mec shotshell loader. Later a 310 tong tool, 38 special, and a Lee mould,
and I was on the way. Enjoyed every minute of it, still do, but don't load as much anymore as it is only for
me, not me and the children. Thanks for listening. Bruno
