I already had the Lee 358-158-RF and the double crimp groove GC mold from NOE in 360 180 but I ran across a Lee C358-158-SWC and got it to the house for less than $20. It works.

Re: C358-158-SWC
I had to go look again to be sure .
The C design is a gas check . Not that it matters but it looks like yours has been dechecked .
I had the plain based mould for a while it had a longer nose I think . I was about the 3rd owner . The 2 guys after me couldn't get it to shoot well either . Probably just that mould . I only have 4 more for 38/357 and they work fine . I think maybe the guns just don't like SWC .

Re: C358-158-SWC
Probably just a bad picture. I got a used gas check out of the slag bin (melted a damaged previous lubed and checked bullet) and with little force installed it with a plastic face hammer. I have a bunch of the plain base version of this bullet already as I was gifted many items by a forum member when I started reloading. My Blackhawk loves this bullet with a healthy dose of the common magnum powders and no check so I hope it'll like it checked as well. I guess I need a TL-358-158-SWC too!
