Not your typical Load-All - Load All Junior

Post by Et2ss »

I had never seen one of these, but had to scoop it up when I did.
These were mentioned in an article linked IN THIS THREAD on a Unitized Loader. These sold for about half the price of the Load-All

Yeap, the Jr. No doubt offered to ensure the MEC 12 Gauge Loader did not survive.

Here is a new Load-All Junior one for those that have everything, but it. That is a crazy price!

FleaBay.

It wasn't labeled as a Load All, Saw it at $12.50 and had to jump.

It didn't come with the sizer ring (not that I plan on actually using it), or dippers, and when it got here the top plastic cap (that was in the auction pictures) was missing from the square aluminium center tube.

I have e-mailed the seller, hopefully they can find it.

I finally got one; new, old stock. There have been a couple on eBay relatively cheap, but they are always missing the sizing ring. This was the complete kit and included a catalog. Honestly, this being the first I've seen in real life, it is a little bitty press and will fit on Bench Plate with a standard hardwood plate.

My plan is to dedicate this press to slug loads so I can use my II for shotshells.

Now, my next Lee "look to find" is a Load-Fast 12 Gauge progressive press. I will pay a finders fee for a working press.

All set to go, comparing II to Junior.

First Hammerhead slug load.

This is how I will probably use it. Next to the Lee Safety Disk with an Adjustable Charge Bar for dropping the powder charges.

Load-All guys and gals, the most common part you are going to lose is the sizing ring; hence, me looking at half a dozen Juniors and rejecting them because they were short the ring. I cut a half inch down and drilled a hole through it and then screwed it into the wooden base plate (right front corner). I never leave the press without ensuring that the ring is on the dowel.
