The next cartridge I reload....
will be my first! Visiting beautiful Palm Springs CA from British Columbia and while here have been shopping online and have a box full of Lee loading equipment. I stumbled on this forum this morning and will be spending much time gaining some knowledge from the wealth of information here. Only one centre fire rifle so far, a recently purchased like new Ruger M77 rear tang 25/06 that shoots very tight groups! Looking forward to setting up shop!

Re: The next cartridge I reload....
Welcome.
As you probably already know, but just in case, that there are restrictions under US federal laws on the export of all cartridge components without an export permit. Reloading tools are not included in the prohibition but many firearm components as well as scopes are also export restricted. Canadian Border Services doesn't care on reloading components or most parts including scopes but handgun frames and certain long gun receivers may not be imported without permit.

Yes, thanks. I did a bit of research before making any purchases.....only have reloading tools, nothing that would require a permit. I can buy all consumables locally at home. Just so much cheaper and better availability to purchase the equipment here even with the exchange rate.

Welcome to the wonderful, oft confusing and frustrating world of reloading and to the Lee Loader forum. You will get factual, unbiased help/information here!. Careful with your new hobby as it can lead to some extra expenditures (my last two gun purchases were for cartridges I didn't reload and I'm not sure if I bought the guns for shooting or reloading ).

Re: The next cartridge I reload....
Finally got around to loading my first small batch of ammunition! Everything in the Challenger Kit worked flawlessly, just followed the directions pretty much exactly as written and with the tips I picked up on this great forum it was smooth sailing! Hope to get to the range soon and test the results!
Thanks again to everyone on this forum!!
