Retro-fit Value Press?

This may be a head-scratcher for some or just a crazy idea for others but has anyone yet tried to retro fit a new Value Press with an old 3 hole Turret ring and turret auto advance onto the ram?

I have an couple old 3 hole presses and one is worn out in the linkage and is the original base with the roll pins and not the shoulder bolts. It has become about useless.

I still use the other press for load workups and very short runs along with loading my 223 with just the Powder thru die and the seating die. Station one is empty but I do prime the cases in that position. Being able to use the Safety Prime would add some convenience.

Does anyone know if the rams on the two presses are the same dimensions?
