Shooting today with my Daughter

Post by Steve »

Like the topic says, Went shooting today with my daughter. a few weeks ago she stepped up to a XD 40 compact from a Walther PK380. Happy days, 40 is what I shoot the most of and her XD shoots my load very well.

After she got familiar with the trigger it was neat to see how excited she was to be shooting consistent good groups. We shot our way through 400 plus rounds by the time it got hot enough to make us stop. It was a great day.

We will have one more trip with her mostly plinking, then get back into shooting on the move.

I'm lucky. Sheila only lives 50 miles away, 20 would be better.

That's awsome ! shooting and hunting trips were always the core of our quality times.

I miss getting out w/the kids, they're all grown and spread to the 4 corners. The oldest boy is in Va the youngest in Tn while the oldest girl is in SD Kalifornia. The younger daughter is here about 12 miles away but we can barely get time to get a meal together much less spend a half a day shooting. The grands are all to little to really enjoy it but I do have 4 outta 5 grands at my whimsy,as I'm raising 2 from the youngest boy,the oldest boys' wife is here still because at 29 he thought Army life would be ok and is in '' A '' school . 4 G daughters 1 G son I've seen/held once.......
