Harbor Freight bench
I got this hardwood work bench from Harbor Freight for only $130. It is heavy, well built. Has four drawers with metal ball bearing sliders and a shelf below. I added the back stop, and shelf for the scale at eye level. Tourett rack is from Inline Fabrication.

Re: Harbor Freight bench
No doubt. The materials and hardware to build from scratch would have cost more.
I used Gorilla Glue on all the joints during assembly, so everything is tight!
There are some 1/2 in holes in the top for woodworking pegs, I might make a gun vice/rack rack to fit those.
The bench also comes with a wood vice on the right side that will be handy.

Re: Harbor Freight bench
Nice. I've already decided I won't build my next bench but will instead buy that same one. I built my last two and if I could get the money back and buy the HF bench I would have money left over still...

Re: Harbor Freight bench
I have 2 of these HF benches. They are sturdy well built except for the drawers. On the more recently purchased bench the drawer slides aren't as smooth as the first and are temperamental in opening/closing.
I use one for gun cleaning and smithing. The other as a general catch all work station. I've added heavy bench vises on them and both stand solid when torquing them down on whatever the project is at hand. As said the only complain I have are the drawers on one of the benches. I also glued every possible joint during assembly.

Re: Harbor Freight bench
I have the same bench and it suits me well. Wish mine had a turret holder...I"ll have to make one.
