Now that is a great day at the range!
Assuming she's the mare of the colt I figure she is saying "Feed me and and the brat" Is the young man your son and is he responsible for the handling and training of that foal?

Those are the least skittish horses I've ever seen if they hand out at a shooting range.

Re: Distractions at the shooting range?
The horses belong to my neighbor, I use them as "grass cutters". The mare bothering my friend Joe, is my sweetheart. Her name is Saddie, a bay roan, and she has a heart of gold. The colt Nix, doesn't belong to her but mom is not too far away. There is six or seven horses here on any given day doing yard work. They all are well behaved, friendly, and not afraid of a firearm boom. I do take care to move them back, I can lead them just about anywhere with my hand on the muzzle.
When I walk out of the house, Saddie will call out to me and start walking my way. That is nothing but cool.

Sounds like a win win to me RD. Free lawn care and a few pets to boot. The only other thing you could want is a good woman and bet you have that covered too.

Re: Distractions at the shooting range?
Life in general, it surrounds us all and finds us a balance between death n plain existence , and we must all enjoy those small moments that are gifted to us in our short times here on earth. These moments are ecstasy in our time on earth in that we must hold that moment to find honor. We only exist for the ones we lived for and left behind.
