Where you able to order the large loop lever directly from Henry?
Affirmative. The lever came direct from Henry. 50 bucks, plus 10 for postage and handling. Was delivered UPS.

That is very reasonable. Cannot get a spare for a Rossi.

I was looking for one for the Winchester in the picture. They are out of production. I found a lever, but they wanted 250 bucks American. I didn't get it.

You could make one for 50 bucks or less.

No 62chevy. It would cost me hundreds in scraped material and probably a ruined Winchester. I don't have what is needed to make a quality large loop lever. It's carved in stone somewhere that I will do everything 3 times to get it right.

LOL the 250 bucks would be a bargain then.

I had two reshaped for my Rossi's, a 92 made larger and a Rio Grande made smaller. It would have cost me twice as much had I done it as I would have tore them up but good.

This is who I used for the lever on my Rossi 92 454 Casull, had in made into a slightly larger "Hunter" style. My Rossi Rio Grande 45-70 Govt has a big loop standard and I thought it too large. I had it reduced in half towards the "Hunter" type loop. Very happy with both.

Got to give the lawn tractor (I call it my war wagon) at the range last week end. It works well and it sure was nice to get to move around the place again. I brought it home to do a little more to it and wash it. When I am done I will post a picture.
