Neck sizing malfunction

Just Purchased Lee loader and loaded 5 rounds. All bullets fell through case into powder with mild pressure.

Noticed that this is not uncommon from web investigation.

Any ideas?

The sizing alone should hold the bullet in place enough and the crimp should just lock it down. Check the diameter of your bullets. I've had some factory undersized bullets and I've had some alloy shrink on me after casting. And as quality as most brass is some of it still runs thin sometimes. There's the chance your Loader is a little fat in sizing. Look up the dimensions you are supposed to be getting and see if sizing is providing that result.

How did you go ?

If you have neck sized, then try measuring the "Expander Pin", as well as the bullets/projectiles.

I always check the Expander pin first, when ordering a new die. I believe it should be between 2 and 3 thou less than the projectile/caliber.
