2016!
Another year behind and ahead of us! Happy New Year!
I've updated the link to the 2016 Lee Precision Catalog, see the forum index.
They have cataloged the revolver cartridge collet style factory crimp dies and the new .225" & .358" bullet designs so that means they are here to stay. It continues to surprise me that they don't offer these bullets with the Micro Bands especially in light that they do not offer any other lubing equipment. I really think they entire mold line needs to be revamped.

Happy New Year!
We made it to another 1/1 .
It does seem strange that each bullet isn't offered both ways , probably a bean counter that that can't see past the bottom line....

Re: 2016!
It is my wish that everyone's New Year will be better than the previous. And yes, Lee is an odd outfit, until you consider other companies like Lyman, that have really lost their way and have little to no idea what most reloaders want these days.

Re: 2016!
Well here's another strange little observation. I need (want) another primer tray for SR primers, don't do large rifle on the LM but have started doing 223. I do have a couple older types (no tab on the bottom to "lock" the lid and the lids are now loose and won't stay put. Not a problem, you can buy the tray's pretty much anywhere, HOWEVER, they don't come with the lids..... Can't find the lids for sale anywhere. Hafta buy the whole priming unit. Now I think that's a bit weird. The least expensive way to get these two parts is to buy the safety prime units it has both large and small and I could also use them on my LCC single stage if I cared to. (I really don't though as I have an RCBS bench priming tool)..

Re: 2016!
Hopefully the end of November will prove 2016 to be a great year.

Re: 2016!
The old style primer tray setups for the Lee Loadmaster and Pro 1000 priming systems have apparently been discontinued. Lee is coming out with a new bench primer with a "folding tray" that will work on the new bench primer, the Lee Loadmaster's primer chute and the Pro 1000 primer chute. Here's a link to the new folding tray on Lee's website:Horseman wrote:Well here's another strange little observation. Re: 2016!
I've emailed to ask them about just that and the reply was something to the point of there isn't enough demand. Still seems odd to not focus on your own mold offerings with what you sell.Ranch Dog wrote:It continues to surprise me that they don't offer these bullets with the Micro Bands especially in light that they do not offer any other lubing equipment. That is a bit idiotic on their part in that they have never sold them, not real sure how they can judge the demand.Maximumbob54 wrote:I've emailed to ask them about just that and the reply was something to the point of there isn't enough demand. The have a new TLC312-160-2R 7.62x39, I bought it but it is that silly .001" under diameter of almost every one of their designs. It also has a lack of features to properly fit the 7.62x39 chamber and it shot accordingly (poor) out of all three of my 7.62s.
