New member from Northern Michigan
Good evening folks. Just found this site this morning. I have been reloading now for about 6 years. Started with a Lee Breech Lock Challenger press. Loaded on that for about four years, then got the bug for a progressive, so I picked up a Lee Pro 1000. I am loading all my pistol rounds on the 1000 now (.380, 9mm, 38special, 357 magnum, and 10mm). After getting the Pro 1000 running well, I wanted to get something to speed up my 223 loading, so I picked up a Lee Classic Cast Turret Press. Love that press. I am loading 223 and 243 on the turret. Soon we will be loading 300 Blackout on the turret, as my son is in the process of building an AR15 in that caliber. I also just ordered a Lee Automator. Do I need that? No. Does it look like a cool toy for the $40 I paid for it? Absolutely. And since I have extra parts for the Pro 1000 that will fit on the Automator, I essentially have another progressive press.
I don't post much, but do tend to lurk on these sites to gain knowledge, and from time to time, I actually do have something to add.
I am looking forward to being on a site that doesn't bash the Lee products. I use Lee because they are at a price point that allows me to purchase equipment without breaking the bank. If it takes a little tweaking, so be it. Is there better equipment out there? Maybe, but my Lee stuff works fine, and I've loaded thousands of rounds of ammo with no issues.
Thanks.
Tim

Hi Tim,
I second your opinion of Lee products. For the money spent they are tough to beat.
