I'd ASSume they'll TIG it wherein the heat is controlled. I fine welder could fix that with no rod used.

There would be no way to drill and tap the mount. I think it was silver soldered but I've no experience with it. They are going to determine what was actually used, clean it back to the metal, and probably TIG weld it.
