I've been doing a bit of work on my new bench. Got all the Press mounting plates done and all but two presses (shotgun) mounted. Still have a lot of stuff laying about to clean up and reorganize. Think I'm gonna take my home made "strong mount" from my other bench as I don't think I'll be needing it anymore. It is a 5ft long steel beam, 6in wide that I welded 10in legs on. Weighs about 60lbs. I had three progressive presses and one single stage mounted on it and is was solid as Sears. Want to load some rounds on the new setup to see how it's all gonna hold up. Maybe tomorrow, I don't think anythings goin on. Today I had the farrier over to shoe my horses and I sold my Browning (Miroku) 1886 SRC 45-70 so had to take that into town for shipping. That kinda hurt, had that for about 20 years and it was still like new. Ha, that's the reason I sold it, all it did was sit in the safe...
Not sure what I'm gonna replace it with. Maybe nothing, I'm not much into hunting anymore and still have three good ones left. An 06',7mm Mag, and 308 Marlin Express so I'm covered if I should get the "urge" again. I've been "thinnin" the herd for a few years now. Better now RD ?? I know I feel better.
