Got to Shoot The Big Boy 45 and the 22 carbine yesterday. Just a few rounds through the 45. I hope later this summer to bench-rest the Big Boy 45 to get results on how the See All Open Sight does, It seems pretty good off hand, but sand bags will tell the story. I will report on it.
Cleaned both rifles today and polished the Brass on the Big Boy. It wasn't bad so the ever-bright took care of it in a hurry. Even polished the inner magazine tube of the 22.
I have found that the ever-bright is not very aggressive, so I leave the wood on the rifle while polishing. It doesn't seem to hurt the bluing either. Makes me happy because it makes the polishing job pretty simple.
