I'm partial to over ripe melons that the grocery store will sometimes give away. When shot with a cast HP .44 magnum they remind me of the "Sledgeomatic"...

busted soda all over the backstop makes it hard enough to keep my bird dogs off it. The melons would never work for me. :)

I have seen numerous videos on line and it looks like fun shooting binary targets. Unfortunately my state sees them as a destructive device!

Tannerite was sold here recently, but that ended quickly.

It is becomeing a very dangerous grey area because of tannerite selling it as they do. Alot of kids Have been tearing up our target stands at my gun club they had no choice, but to ban it. Sad I use to take younger kids and make some small hockey puck size charges that gave them great excitement when they hit them. Only a matter of time and it will be outlawed I am sure as many that I see around here useing it use online videos to make it and do not even have comin sense with guns not alone what they are making. If mixtures are not correct it can be very unstable. Always be careful when playing with these binary targets for sure.

I have never shot any myself, but have vicariously enjoyed it through youtube, Elmo Loves Tannerite! I highly recommend that video.
