Ballistic Edge Case Annealer

Post by Ranch Dog »

My Ballistic Edge Case Annealer is on the way to the ranch! With the cost and more importantly, the availability of brass, I thought I would get more systematic about taking good care of what I have on hand.

Michael,

With time, I have increasingly thought about anealing brass for the same reasons. So, I'm looking forward to your results.
Wow, they're not giving those things away!

I'm eager to see if you feel like the results are worth the cost.

I will post my results as soon as I get it going but it is going to take a while to figure out the results. Given the volume I'm shooting, if it adds one life cycle to my brass it will pay for itself in less than a year.

I thought I would add a couple of short videos showing the BEM 360 Case Annealer in use on some 38-55 Win cases. I think it took about 6 and a half minutes to anneal all 125 cases! Setup is 5 to 10 minutes.

This is a side view of the water quenching.
