Hello from SE Ohio
Hi. I caught the reloading bug after seeing an outdoor demo on range during an AR workshop a couple years ago. Since we're working toward living aboard the boat full-time I wanted compact and easily transported equipment so I use the Lee hand press exclusively for .45 Auto, .223, and .308. I love this hobby!

Welcome from Iowa. Sounds like a great life style to me. I piloted a tow boat a bit for a friend of mine, loved it, but never got licensed.
When the reloading grows you will find something else to throw overboard to make room.

Re: Hello from SE Ohio
Welcome to a great site. Two things in your introduction caught my attention.
I lived and sailed aboard my ragbag for almost 5 years. That was L O N G ago. The ocean was a terrible environment for the rifle I kept onboard. I didn't reload onboard but at my dad's home back then. I supplemented my fish diet by hunting pigs from time to time.
The Lee Hand Press is one of Lee's best designs. I've owned the older model and now have the new bushing style. It is a useful and handy press. Being a landlubber now and having a devoted shop with 2 presses that little hand press still gets it fair share of "little" jobs. I've also taken it to the range to do load work ups several times.
If you do a site search you'll find several of us like and use that hand press and found it to be beneficial. My most recent "improvement" for this press was wrapping the handle with tennis racket tape. But then I'm old and whimpy now do to arthritis.
