Pro AutoDisk double disk spacers falling off

Hey Forum,
Last weekend I set up my pro1000 for .44-40 blackpowder loads. That was the first time I actually needed a double disk kit.
While it was easy to change the hopper screws for the longer ones and find the correct set of disks (thanks LEE for the dippers), the spacers would not sit properly and would always fall off the screws when I lift off the hopper to empty it.
Grinding down the flashes in the middle of both sides of the spacer was done quickly and gave the spacers a good seat. But they still would fall off.
So I gave them a wrap of 5 or 6 layers of teflon plumbing seal, right at the top where the spacers sit. That was enough to keep them from falling off.
