Ergo-Prime Revisited

Slightly over three years ago, time really flies, I eagerly tried the Ergo-Prime only to end up very frustrated with it: Ergo=Prime. About a week ago I found it in a junk bin so I pulled it out because I had seen the $8 upgrade kit on the Titan website. Thought I might as well try the change to see what I thought.

My final thoughts were that the tool needed a kickstand as it always rolled over on its side or completely upside down. It also had issues with the lid's security so given its table manners, it was a disaster. Here it is on its way to a rollover.

The upgrade kit arrived from Titan.

At least one of my complaints has been corrected. It now features a kickstand!

Everything is totally different, I really don't think the top is going flop. It was probably $8 well spent, will see how it works!

I broke a tab on one of my covers and wanted to order a replacement. They sent me the update kit instead. So far, I like it, but now need to order more. I keep a separate tray and cover for each large and small rifle and pistol primers. Maybe they'll sell me just the triangle trays.

You can buy two-packs.

I also upgraded mine. I don't use it often, because I usually prime on press, but the upgrade really helped with ease of operation. Especially the occasionally opening (and spilling all primers) cover of the square tray was an annoyance. I still don't like the triangular trays too much, I preferred the round ones.
