Just registered and thought I'd introduce myself. Born in southern Indiana (Evansville) a Looonnng time ago. Joined the navy in 1959 and spent 21 years there, first as enlisted on old conventional WWII submarines then as an officer flying Phantoms off carriers. Retired in 1980. Now retired and living on a lake in North Carolina.
Started reloading with a little three hole turret when I was competing in NRA high power, Had a friend who mentored me which made the learning process much easier not to mention safer. Have reloaded many things from 9mm to 338 Win mag, including many thousands of rounds of 223. Love to hunt, deer especially, but also rabbits and squirrels and sometimes doves. Introduced my two sons to shooting almost as soon as they could hold the firearm and am now in the same mode with my grandkids. Love shooting and reloading. Got into bullet casting a few years ago to support the handgun habit. Married to the same wonderful woman for 50 years and she shoots too! Got tired of reading about how bad Lee stuff is on some other forums so searched and found this one where I figured no one would bad mouth my gear. Now use (happily) a LCT press. My last run was a thousand rounds of 9mm using bullets I had cast a couple of months ago. Nice hobby for an old retired fart. Keeps me off the streets. +guns

Welcome to the forum! Just drove through a portion of NC, spending a week with my grandkids at Virgina Beach. You landed in the right spot we love our Lee gear, but I would not call us Kool-Aid drinkers. If we see something that we don't like, we speak up and discuss it like gentlemen. I think we have figured out anything that didn't work like we thought it should.

Welcome to the forum from Easton PA.
As far as Lee equipment goes, reload, gun goes bang and bullet goes into the 10 circle. All with Lee equipment. Why pay more?

Nice to see another swabby onboard. I was a Quarter Master from 67 to 71. Even though our Skipper, RD, say we "we speak up and discuss it like gentlemen" he puts up with squids like us. So welcome to the CIC of the Lee Loader.

I guess sailors don't usually get into small arms like our marine and army friends. But I was a shooter and hunter before I joined up. Had my first rifle when I was 11, a Win model 74, which I still have. Just got finished shooting with my 12 year old granddaughter. Break them in on a little cricket and move them up gradually.
