Pro Auto Disk - breaking chains

got a Loadmaster yesterday and began the set-up process. Got to the powder set-up and selected a couple of disks for my target 9 loads. I check each dispensed case and found I needed to get a larger diameter to reach what I have been loading. All went well till the last disk selection.

The first attempt to fill a case resulted in a broken return chain. I found the lever on the measure hanging on return to a closed position. I attempted to isolate the cause by removing the hopper then the disks but no answer there. Clean the slider in the die... worked for a while and then failed again.

Filled out a "ticket" for help from support and within an hour had a call setting up the parts I needed to resolved the issue. The tech judged the issue to be the "down tube" in the body of the measure. I'm hoping I get the new one in place without damaging it.

Thanks for a great job of support from tech support. I'll post results

P.S. go easy on me I'm a noob to Lee.

No, you guys are great. I just freaked.I set up the press all except the powder measure. Decided not to wait for parts & bought another measure. The arm on the new one did not move freely. At the same time the case slider started working intermittently. When I first set it up it worked perfectly.

After about 30 hours I threw in the towel. Sent it all back. I have to believe most of the issue lies in my ability to think through and resolve each little situation. So, it's me not Lee and certainly not the forum members.
