Cutting out 200 GC takes from set up to finish less than 20 minutes. I use the aluminum coils which make life simple. It's not difficult or complicated.

Good point RD. I've been buying primers, jacketed bullets, powder, factory loaded ammunition and even guns at a paced rate despite having little time to use them. This is because when I can get around to do this stuff as much as I want a pound of powder will be $75 and will require a license to buy.

Vulcan already responded (on a weekend) with the offer to send some samples to pick through to find the appropriate product or request for return. I bought some gatorchecks from Sage's outdoors. Only bought 1000.

Once I see how they fit I'll decide what to do about the Vulcans.

That's great that Vulcan responded, keep us posted with what you discover.

A little bit at a time, that is all a guy can do! With my buying over time, I bought what was on sale usually anything that was on sale. I found that I was able to do a lot of horse trading to get the checks that I would ultimately need.

I buy my Gator checks from Sage. They have had what I needed and they have worked consistently.

Make smoke,

Sage has been out of stock since I got the Marlin until this weekend hence my order.

In the mean time anyone that can use the ones I bought from Vulcan are welcome to them for what I paid (meaning I'll ship free).

Gators are in and measure .2805" ID. They fit perfectly. The Vulcans at .283" are going back.

No reply from Vulcan since I emailed them Thursday AM before business hours. Quick to respond with options, not quick when a return is requested. Possibly out of the office as some folks get a three day weekend (not me).
