Labeling Auto Drum

Post by Ranch Dog »

My work continues on setting up my inventory loads for permanent use with the Auto Drum. The Deluxe Perfect Powder Measure continues to get the drum setup within a grain and once adjusted, I "throw away the key" and label the drum to be kept with the die set. For labeling, I use the unique firearm abbreviation and load number from my software.

I buy file folder labels wal mart sells them. They're cheap durable and versatile. Cut to unique size to fit after writing your information. It's also my bullet box labels my loose bullets bag labels. Ect.ect. ect. Just throwing out my cheap idea. Nice work RD, looks so professional compared to my processes lol. Maybe if I practice my sharpie scribe I can make mine look better.

I bought my Casio EZ-Label Printer probably twenty years ago for around $10. Use it for all kinds of stuff. It will go through batteries but found a power cord for it for about $3. Tape cartridges are about $4 to $5 each and last a long time.

If a label is coming loose and you want it to be permanent, 3M Decal Glue solves the issue. A small tube is cheap at any auto parts store.

I like that label maker Rd, and here I was expecting some new age gadget. I need to keep my eyes peeled at garage sales beens I can use my phone to check refills costs before I haggle. Might be cheaper then my process and more professional looking. +guns
