Howdy folks, just a quick post to request good words, good wishes, good thoughts & prayers
for our forum mate & my buddy Dan (Daboone) He is under the weather with a pretty nasty
heart problem called A-fib. He & his kids caught it pretty fast. So he is now started the sometimes
long & frustrating task of getting the blood thinner dose correct.
But, as we all know, he's so old, cranky & nasty that this won't keep him down.

Michael, didn't know where to put this, if wrong please correct for me if you would.

Ok, that's all from me, time for my own meds.

Larry you blabber mouth. :P  I honestly feel fine, the afib is behaving. It's just the rat poison needs to be regulated. I'm sort of a home bound till it is. Now that's not a bad thing for me. I have the perfect excuse to clean up my shop/benches and get a honking load of 223R reloaded for my sons. Also working on a flintlock rifle build. I am also refusing to do any grandparenting for awhile which is about all I've done for the last couple of months.

So please no worries about me. I'm kinda of enjoying the peace and quiet as well as the playing with my toys.

Thanks for the concern but I AM FINE and enjoying this R&R.

In my prayer too. like they told me once, "keep a stiff upper lip ... It'll help keep the thermometer in place".
What style flinter are you building-what caliber? Mines a 50 caliber southern mountain style poor boy. Got the kit in the white from Jack Garner while he still owned Tennessee Valley Muzzleloading. :)

I'm in over my head on a .54 1803 Harpers Ferry Pecatonica River build when it comes the installation of the "simple trigger". "In the white" is and understatement. I put together 2 Lyman Great Plains kits that required little more than some shaping of the stock. Little did I know what a job this was going to be. But it keeps me busy, it educational, interesting and FUN.
