Re: New Lee Press?
It looks like the Auto Breech Lock Pro is now released and will be available in April.

It also looks like they will allow pre ordering from vendors.

I noticed that they have gone to a "Universal" Case feeder for all the progressives.

Re: New Lee Press?
Well guys
I havn't been around for a while.
I went and bought the new Value turret press # 90932. It was on sale at midway for $ 80.99, with free shipping over $99.00. I got a couple extra 4 hole turrets, to get the free shipping.
Will post on how it works, once I get it set up, and running.
At present I am fighting an "auto drum", trying to get it working. So far not impressed.

Re: New Lee Press?
There are a couple good topics about the AutoDrum. I switched over and am happy overall.

Re: New Lee Press?
Good to hear from your barracuda! That is a heck of a deal on a great press. Of course I would say "great press" with any Lee press!
Can you detail the issue you are experiencing?
There seems to be a bit of a learning curve with the Auto Drum. If you were to go back and search my topics/posts about it, you would see them being negative but switch over to positive. I went from wanting to get rid of the first one I bought and now I have five of them.barracudadave67 wrote:At present I am fighting an "auto drum", trying to get it working. So far not impressed.

Re: New Lee Press?
I'm still waiting on the new value turret press, should be in this week.
I did get the auto drum to work, so I loaded 10 rds of .30-30. Wasn't to bad to set up, once I really red the destructions, and watched some lee videos. Don't know how,,,,,,, but I ended up with 3 of these things.
Going to load some more .30-30 soon. I bought a new Remlin 336 big loop, with an 18 inch bbl, last fall. Havn't shot it yet. Want to try hard lead bullets. Was thinking of one of the "Ranch Dog moulds, from NOE Molds. Only thing is I've never messed with gas checks.Going to try and get it ready for Deer season this November, long with my 45-70 guide gun.

Re: New Lee Press?
Value turret arrived today. Nice solid little unit. about an inch shorter that the classic turret. Easy as pie to set up, and get going. I mounted it on one of the Lee quick change plates, so I can change it out with my Lee Classic Cast single stage, next to my Classic Turret.
I think you'll be able to do some rifle carts on it, as I installed a Lee .30-30 full length sizer die on it, and had no trouble sizing. So a person should be able to do some rifle loading on it.
Stay tuned more to come.
I'll see if I can get some pics up.
